MEAN BEARD joined forces with ESPN to bring you a glimpse into the world of competitive bearding.  

In September 2018, the MEAN TEAM met up with ESPN's E:60 crew at the Great American Beard and Moustache Champion held in Richmond, Virginia.  Featuring Jimmy Brittain "Jimmy the Big Beard" an attorney from North Carolina, Jimmy takes you behind the scenes and offers you insight into what it's like to prepare for and participate in a beard competition.  Bryan Nelson, Rob Sheiber, John Banks and MJ Johnson also made appearances, whom we thank them for.

Jimmy simply puts it this way, "It doesn't matter what you do for a living or who you are, there's just a lot of brotherhood and comradery.  If you have a big beard and you meet another big bearded guy you're going to become buddies".
