It's that exciting time of the year again for people with a MEAN BEARD to shine! We have officially kicked off the 2021 MEANest BEARD Worldwide Contest, the globe's premiere online beard contest. We are on the lookout to award one mighty MEAN BEARD with the title of 2021 MEANest BEARD Champion and that person may be you!
This is your chance to shine and show the world how MEAN your beard is. Up for the win is the MEANest BEARD Champion title and trophy, along with approx. $1,000 in MEAN prizes ... including MEAN BEARD grooming products for the entire year of 2022.
About the contest:
The 2021 MEANest BEARD Worldwide Contest is open to bearded men around the globe.
Entries open November 1st and close December 15th, 2021.
At the end of November we will begin featuring contestants in batches of 8 on our website, Instagram and Facebook feeds. Depending on the number of entries received, we expect contestant features to carry on until the end of December until everyone is featured. Please keep an eye out for your feature and share with your friends and followers.
Early January 2022, a panel of MEAN BEARD judges will assemble to select and announce the TOP 12, TOP 3 and then ultimately the CHAMPION.
The judge scoring system will be based on three specific criteria:
1) The actual beard itself, not specific to the length or width, but the composition of the beard.
2) The quality and attitude shown in the photograph submitted. (No car selfies please.)
3) Last but not least, the story behind the beard. What do you think makes your beard a MEAN BEARD? Tell us an inspiring story behind your beard, or what your beard means to you.
