| Tell Us A Bit About Yourself. (Career, Hobbies, Interests) | I'm a 68 year old bearded man. My first experience with facial hair was sideburns in Jr. Hi. School. After Hi. School I joined the Air Force and was forced to cut off my facial hair. Being a rebel, I pushed the limits of what was allowed hair wise. I was successful in getting the hair code changed at my employment and in 1980 began my journey of bearding. In 2007 I quit cutting my beard to get ready for the 2009 "Worlds" in Alaska. It was then that I decided that I would never cut my beard again. My beard grew slowly for several years, and, in 2018 I had cancer removed and my beard started growing longer. |
