Started growing a beard because I'd never tried. When it started out it really too of and I started getting clubs reaching out, beard products sponsorships etc. All of that kind of took me back, never heard of such things. Products? I was a guy with body wash and tooth paste in his bathroom. Now... Now I'm oversaturated in free products, I just give it away to men that can't afford it. |

I started growing a beard around the same time so it went hand in hand. I really stopped trimming it 7/4/16 on my Birthday! I have let it go for over 2 yrs! I also got into being healthy and working out to better my life for me and my family! I'm down 60lbs and inspiring others! |

It has become one of me. Shaved my beard 4 years ago it became clear, I came to work the following day and my coworkers kept driving me out of the company, it was an area just for staff they said, they laughed well when they realized it was me. so few recognize me without beard. Chose to lose it to join the British Army Reserves, when I left I missed having facial hair, so decided to grow it back. The longer it grew the more compliments I got, which help my shyness and anxiety. I found out about competitions and the chance I'd always wanted to help raise money and awareness for charities. It's made me a stronger man. |
