Seen my chin 3 times in 15 years. All 3 times was because i did charity events for wigs for kids and shaved it off and donated. Now my newest goal is to grow to my kneecaps then do a charity event to raise money and shave it.

4 years ago, when I started growing my beard, an astrologer told me that I should remove my beard, that I will not get anything from it. Then I took that as a challenge and told myself that whatever happens, now I'll grow my beard, I'll see what goes wrong. So nothing wrong happened, by the grace of God, this made my Persona better.  I received the title of partial beard champion and hendal bar Mustache Champion.

Being called ZZ TOP is regular thing for us (long beards).  Back in the day, I was mistaken with famous Polish rapper Tede.  At his concert, after his show, many people wanted to take pics with me instead him.

Ex-military.  Mechanic builder of transmissions for the past 20 years.  For the past 2 years, I've been on my own.  Avid drag racer and all around car nut. I got into cars as a kid with my Dad and carried it on after losing him in 95. Love camping with my family and finding trails to hike.  For some reason at 49 I took up mountain biking and I love it.
MEAN BEARD Motto:      It is what it is .... Get up every day and do my best for me and my family. Try to leave nothing on the table.

When i was in the Air Force i could barely grow facial hair lol. After shaving for a couple years i could grow a goatee but my beard wouldn't fill in. After many years of growing my goatee i lost my dad and he had always had a clean short beard so i tried growing it out again. Now it finally grew but was thin in the middle of my chin. Until i started having a barber trim it and using your product. Now it grows great!!!

I love cooking and helping with my grandkids. I realized I love working out and all the benefits that comes with it.

My beard is an instant conversation starter. Children love it because they think I'm Santa much to the embarrassment of their parents. I just play along because I think it's great. I played Santa for a group of unwed mothers. One little girl they said didn't like strangers especially men. Before I left she was stuck to me like glue. The beard drew her in and she was fascinated by it. A year later she asked some friends about me.

My beard has been used to help countless people thru charity. It has always placed others above itself. Since it's growth it has been a part of a non-profit organization assisting in helping the lives of veterans, kids, abuse victims, animals etc. While it may not be some monster size beard, that's doesn't stop me from being MEAN with it. Big beards are no better than small beards. It's really what you do with it.

  • As with all the groupings.. all the beards are magnificent in their own special way. Appearance wise, I love the curls in Bruce Campbell’s. I have to tie him with Ryan Santore (who is rocking the salt and pepper look), and who summed things up with his statement “big beards are no better than small beards – it’s really what you do with it.” I was swayed by both men’s stories, their volunteer spirit, and humbleness.
