I became more me than I had ever been. Getting bearded was the start of a recovery from depression that had gripped me for 20 years. I looked and felt like a Metal Head again which caused me to reconnect with music and find my passion for performing again. People seemed to treat me with more respect as a bearded man which helped me find more respect for myself and make me a better man. |

I always thought about growing a beard but in March 2017 I decided to finally grow the beard. Now it became a part of me. Since then I became an ambassador, a member of several beard unions (Australian Beard Society, Ballarat Beard and Moustache Union, Beard Society of Bangladesh). I was the 1st runner-up in Ballarat Beard Festival (Verdi Category) in May 2018. Love my beard. |
